Avoidance sheet

Have a good meal before this appointment. Below is to be followed immediately after the treatment

(Ferrous Sulfate, Ferrous Gluconate, Iron bisglycinate, Ferrous Fumarate, Ferrous Citrate, chicken thigh and leg (brown meat of chicken) Beef, Pork, Lamb, gelatin, raisins, dates, bacon, ham, Crude Iron, Wrought Iron, Iron Wok)
You may not eat or touch

Apricots, peaches, green bananas, black molasses, dates, prunes, raisins, brewer’s yeast, whole grain cereals, turnip greens, broccoli, Brussels sprout, spinach, beet tops, alfalfa, beets, nuts and seeds, whole rye, dry beans, lentils, kelp, egg yolk, liver, red meat, pork liver, beef, organ meats like kidney, heart and liver, farina, raw clams, oysters, nuts, asparagus, tea, coffee, fruit teas, chocolate, iron supplements and touching ornamental iron work, iron skillet/wok/Balti dishes etc and rust.

Foods that can be eaten

White rice without iron fortification, Sour dough bread without iron fortification, yellow squash, cauliflower, ice-berg lettuce, potato, chicken breast, turkey breast, yellow bananas, yellow golden delicious apples, turmeric, water, olive oil, vegetable oil, ginger, garlic, cooking onions, egg whites, light green vegetables (courgette, white or light green cabbage, turnip).

Meal suggestions
Breakfast

Water or orange juice to drink

Yellow banana and yellow golden delicious apple

Fried onion and egg white omelette with sautéed potatoes (separate the eggs before the treatment).

Lunch

Stir fried white rice with sautéed onion, garlic and turmeric with sautéed courgette and sliced turkey breast.

Roast chicken breast and boiled cabbage & cauliflower with roast potatoes.

Dinner

Soup made with the above vegetables and serve with sourdough bread
